balance board and a game which offers good excercise and gaming
entertainment.

The balance board messaures precisley your weight and
when you first use Wii Fit, it works out your body mass index and
suggest a new target BMI based on your weight an height.
The software offers various graph to follow your progress.

Wii Fit offers a great variety of different games and excecises for you
to get in shape. You can choose between Aerobic Exercise, Muscle
Conditioning, Yoga Poses and
Balance Games. The Balance Board is neatly integrated in that it
monitors your stance during yoga, for example, and measures reps during
exercises.

Arts just released EA Active with support for the balance
board. Ea Active comes with a a Wii
Nunchuk housing thigh band that tracks running, and a stretchy
resistance band for lunging and weightlifting.

Exercises are varied and numerous. There is no lack of
the repetition that makes
so many people skip out on the real gym.You can freely choose among
dozens of activities geared
to get the heart pumping, all divided into separate categories for
cardio, lower body, upper body, and sports. It includes running on a
track, squats and lunges, bicep
curls, boxing with targets and a heavy bag, inline
skating with jumping tricks, aerobic dancing, hitting and
throwing a baseball,
swinging a tennis racquet, shooting a basketball, etc.... All you do
is watch a your choosen trainer in an onscreen box and follow his/her
movements. The great variety of
activities keeps the game feeling fresh for many many workout sessions.

Golds Gyms Cardio
Workout also comes with support for the Balance Board but
is lacking the tigh band and excercise band which is included in ea
Active. The game offers exercises that include cardio
boxing, running, sit-ups and among others. The game also
tracks burned calories and body weight evolution and features stylized
graphics.

Dance Dance Revolution is another title which helps you
getting in shape. Dance Dance Revolution is a
rhythm game that has you stepping all over a mat to hit arrows
that match the corresponding arrows flowing up the screen to the
bumping beat of a popular dance track. Besides the actual game you also
can play workout mode. Here, you enter a few details about yourself and
then set a number of calories you'd like to burn.
